Refund policy

Five Star Aquatics Return Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a refund. We'll
also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an
incorrect item).  On voluntary or customer error returns customers are responsible for
the return shipping cost AND or outbound shipping costs and fees.

If an order received free shipping at checkout, and the return takes the total under the
free shipping level, original actual shipping cost will be charged to the order and
subtracted from the return.  Any shipping charges paid on an invoice are non-
refundable.

You should expect to have your refund processed within one week of Five Star Aquatics receiving your return package.  (Typically only 2-3 days) Funds are normally transferred back to your account in 1-10 business days depending on your bank's policies.  

If you use our automated return system you will be provided a prepaid label.  You are responsible for the cost of this label and that cost will be deducted from the return.  The return label cost is calculated from the total weight and dimension of your original order - not the item(s) you are returning.   This label is active for a time period of 3 weeks after requested.  The label will be void after 3 weeks.  If after 3 weeks, you wish to complete your return request you will have to provide shipping.

Please have your Invoice number on the outside of the box, or include the Return
Authorization slip inside the box. Please use an outer shipping box to protect the
products packaging/box.  Please use proper void fill.  

Any damage incurred during return shipping is your responsibility.  

If damage occurs in shipping and Five Star Aquatics personnel can repair the damage, that amount will not be refunded. (repairs)

If Five Star Aquatics personnel can not repair the damage no credit will be issued.  

When sending a return shipment to Five Star Aquatics Use a shipping
service with insurance and tracking.

If your original order included free shipping and the amount of your return takes the total under the free shipping limits, original shipping charges will be subtracted from your return.  You are responsible for the return shipping charges.  We will inspect all contents upon arrival for damage and product use.  In most cases we will not charge restocking fees. 

Five Star Aquatics may charge restocking fees to cover damage or if repair is needed to the item.
